If so, then the Green IT Challenge 2023 by Orange Silicon Valley may be your big break.
About the Challenge
The Green IT Challenge 2023 by Orange Silicon Valley is seeking to identify and engage with the most innovative North American startups in Green IT sectors. The Challenge will explore how these startups can help expedite our sustainability journey to meet Orange’s carbon neutrality targets.
The winners
The Jury will select up to five finalists. Each will have an opportunity to conduct paid exploratory projects with business units of Orange or its subsidiaries. Finalists will also join a business development expedition to Paris, France (expenses paid) to formally meet with senior leaders of Orange and other industry leaders, as well as attend and present their solution at Europe’s most prominent tech fair — VivaTech.
Criteria for participation
The Green IT Challenge 2023 is open to startups incorporated in North America — of all funding stages and with an established working product or prototype — in one of the following sectors (or related to them):
Timeline
Feb 20: 4PM PT Applications are open
March 31: 4PM PT Deadline for applications
April 20: Finals held in San Francisco where startups pitch to a jury of key decision makers and industry leaders
April 25: Challenge winners are announced
June 12: Business development expedition to Paris, France
Fall 2023: Potential paid projects with Orange business units
